The outlet recently assembled a collection of six places “where renewable energy is cheaper than fossil fuels.” They range from the cheap, cheap, cheap winds blowing across the wide-open spaces of America’s capital state of oil, Texas, to the world’s least expensive solar power, being produced on the sunny desert plateaus of Chile.
