An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power will be in theatres July 28, and Climate Reality Project founder Al Gore released the trailer this week.
It’s a sequel to Gore’s Academy Award-winning An Inconvenient Truth, and the current occupant of the White House figures prominently in the storyline.

“Despair can be paralyzing,” Gore says, but “we’re seeing a tremendous amount of positive change. The basis is there. But it’s still not enough.”
The trailer takes viewers through startling images of climate impacts and clean energy solutions, with a nod to what Gore calls the “unprecedented” global consensus embodied in the Paris agreement.
“This movement is in the tradition of every great movement that has advanced humankind,” he declares.
“Make your voice heard,” the trailer urges. “Send a message of truth to power. Fight like your world depends on it.”
