Scientists have pinpointed key endangered ice sheets in West Antarctica that could pose an immediate threat to global coastlines. One glacier in particular, according to scientists, needs to be researched. The Thwaites Glacier, a “monstrous body” that is bigger than the state of Pennsylvania is losing over 100 billion tons of ice per year in recent years.
