Greentech Media’s Mohit Anand has created the PV Manufacturing Attractiveness Survey (PVMAX) to help measure the success of solar, and to help manufacturers select their next sites. The most attractive countries for manufacturing have historically been the most competitive on all-in costs. This is now changing. According to Anand, ready access to the greatest demand has become more important. The top three Global PVMAX rankings are China, Taiwan, and Singapore.
