A North Dakota oil well owned by Oasis Petroleum inc. blew out over last weekend, spewing 67,000 gallons of crude oil and 84,000 gallons of saltwater-brine. It has since been secured after several days of polluting the surrounding land and water. The North Dakota Department of Health said that the spill has affected a nearby river.
