“Another ridiculous, anti-science amendment” from the U.S. House of Representatives would prohibit the U.S. Department of Energy and the Army Corps of Engineers from any expenditure “to design, implement, administer or carry out specified assessments regarding climate change,” salon.com reports. The amendment is unlikely to pass the Democrat-controlled Senate. “Spending precious resources to pursue a dubious climate change agenda compromises our clean-energy research and America’s infrastructure,” said Rep. David McKinley (R-WV), the amendment’s sponsor. (h/t Dennis Schvejda/Newsana for pointing us to this story)
