Several U.S. states are in a good position to implement the clean power rule introduced June 2 by the Environmental Protection Agency, based on work they’ve already done to control carbon pollution, according to report by Analysis Group. “Several states have already put a price on carbon dioxide pollution, and their economies are doing fine,” said Senior Advisor Susan Tierney. “The bottom line: the economy can handle—and actually benefit from—these rules.”
